“Alde’s strong support in the efforts of the Republic of Cyprus to resolve the Cyprus problem”.
The Agatian and timeless cooperation of their political groups assured a meeting in Brussels by Alde Didrik de Schaetzen’s Secretary General and DIPA Vice President Yiannos Lakkotrypis, focusing the discussion on the challenges concerning Cyprus, on energy, on the energies, on the Momentum, They are also promoted through the EU.
According to a press release for this meeting, Mr Lakkotrypis requested more support and actions from the brother’s brother in the EU, in the efforts to promote the solution of the Cyprus problem. The Alde official was informed by the DIPA Vice President of the confidence -building measures, as agreed in Geneva, the UN Secretary -General’s personal envoy, as well as the consequences of the status quo for Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots.
Didrik de Schaetzen expressed full support for Cyprus’ efforts and assured Mr Lakotripis for diplomatic intervention and strengthening the positions of the Republic of Cyprus, in view of the next five -day five -day, under the UN Secretary -General.
Mr. Shaetzen was of particular interest in the fermentations held for the next parliamentary elections, as well as for the minorities of Maronites, Armenians and Latins in Cyprus, expressing a desire to meet them with his visit to the island – Alde’s delegation to visit.
Alde and DIPA agreed to strengthen relationships, with Alde officials in the DIPA Conference in May, as well as the participation of DIPA executives in a debate panel of the neuralgic defense, next June in Helsinki.
In addition, Alde and DIPA, they reinforce the contacts with the newly established female movement of DIPA being networked with the Alde European family in common interest.
