Cyprus learns the other opponents of national Greece
The wait is almost over and the draw of the FIBA Eurobasket 2025 groups is approaching, with the participating countries learning their opponents on Thursday, March 27th. Among them is the Cyprus National, which will participate as a co -organizer, for the first time in its history in the final Eurobasket.
The group draw ceremony will take place at Riga Circus in the capital of Latvia on Thursday, March 27 and will begin at 15:00 Cyprus time. There will be the President of the Cyprus Basketball Federation, Andreas Mouzouridis, the Chairman of the Organizing Committee FIBA Eurobasket 2025 in Cyprus Mark Clerides and the Director of the Organizing Committee, Antonios Antoniou.
The draw will be featured live on the special broadcast of the Cyprus Basketball Federation, on the KOK channel on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/@basketcyprus) with presenters of Herodotus Miltiadis and Louis Patsalidis, where there will be links to Riga.
We remind you that the first group will take place in Riga, Latvia, the second group in Tampere, Finland, the 3rd Group in Limassol, Cyprus and Group D in Katowice, Poland. The matches in Cyprus will take place between August 28 and September 4. The day after the draw at 9:00 pm On March 28th, tickets for all 15 individual matches will be released through the More.com website.
The four co -organizing countries have been selected by a partner country, which will be placed in the same group. We recall that Cyprus has chosen Greece, Latvia Estonia, Finland Lithuania and Poland in Iceland.
The 24 teams will be drawn in four groups of the six teams, and the capacity groups have been divided based on the FIBA men’s world rankings.
The hosts and affiliated countries will first be placed in the clubs before the other teams follow. Through the draw, the schedule of the races to be held will also be determined.
