Bayern Munich entered the new season in the most emphatic way, dismantling Leipzig 6-0 at the Allianz Arena and sending a clear message to the title contenders: Come and fight it if you can!
Michael Olce was the big protagonist of the first half, opening the scoring in the 27 ‘with a powerful shot through the area and reappearing in the 42’ to write 3-0, completing an impressive first half. In the meantime (32 ‘), Luis Diaz had scored the second goal with an excellent finish, after the Bavarian cooperation!
In the second half, Harry Caine took the baton, who did … whatever the opposing defense wanted. The English striker scored a hat-trick within 14 minutes (64 ‘, 74’, 78 ‘), raising his score to the final 6-0 and confirming his leadership presence in Bayern’s attack.
Leipzig has not been able to react at any point. Her defense collapsed under the pressure of the Bavarians, and aggressively did not actually threaten. The guests seemed to just watch the home side show.
