
Baku, Azerbaijan, April 12. Today, as part of
his participation in the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, Minister of
Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov has
met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of
Venezuela Ivan Gil Pinto, Trend reports, citing the Azerbaijani Foreign
Ministry.
During the meeting, the current agenda of cooperation between
Azerbaijan and Venezuela was discussed, including opportunities for
economic development, trade and energy security, as well as
cooperation activities on bilateral and multilateral platforms, as
well as regional and international security issues of mutual
interest.
The parties reaffirmed the strengthening political ties and
mutual respect that characterize relations between Azerbaijan and
Venezuela. Confidence was expressed that bilateral cooperation will
continue to develop through continuous political dialogue and
exchange of high-level visits.
The ministers discussed the possibilities of expanding bilateral
cooperation in various fields, especially in the economic, energy
and tourism sectors, as well as potential initiatives in the fields
of science and culture, including the implementation of academic
and professional exchange programs.
It was emphasized that cooperation based on mutual support and
solidarity within international organizations, especially the UN
and the Non-Aligned Movement, is a source of satisfaction, and the
importance of further strengthening interaction at multilateral
venues was noted.
The meeting also included an exchange of views on other issues
of mutual interest.
