Concert tribute to music composer Thanos Mikroutsikos for charity by the Paphos Music School
The Paphos Music School, in collaboration with Yiannis Kotsiras, presents two major concerts dedicated to Thanos Mikroutsikos, on July 2 and 3, 2025 at the Ancient Conservatory of Kato Paphos. More than 120 students and teachers participate, with symphony and folk orchestra and choir. The concert is supported by the Petridio Foundation that always stands for a helper in the cultural events of the country.

For 14 consecutive years the Paphos Music School has been actively contributing to the cultural events of our city, honoring leading Greek artists (Theodorakis, Hadjidakis, Tsitsanis, Loizos, Savvopoulos, etc.). The concerts are also charitable, as net revenue is available to support needy students.
The summer concerts of the Paphos Music School, with which they honor great Greek composers and poets presenting their work, have now become an institution in the cultural events of our city.
Chronologically they have presented the bottom concerts as part of the institution:
· 2011 tribute to Marios Tokas.
· 2012 tribute to Nikos Gatsos.
· 2013 tribute to Cypriot-Greek traditional music
· 2014 Tribute to Manos Loizos, performer Gerasimos Andreato.
· 2015 two concerts tribute to Mikis Theodorakis, performer Dimitris Bassis /Vassilis Lekkas.
· 2016 Tribute to Manos Hadjidakis, performer Yiannis Haroulis.
· 2017 two concerts on “Xenite-Refugees”, performer Melina Kana/Costas Makedonas.
· 2018 Tribute to Vassilis Tsitsanis, performer George Dalaras.
· 2019 Tribute to Dionyssis Savvopoulos, performer the composer.
· 2022 Three concerts tribute to Mikis Theodorakis, performer Margarita Zorbala.
· 2023 Tribute to Manos Loizos, performer Pantelis Thalassinos.
· 2024 Tribute to Yiannis Markopoulos, performer Yiannis Haroulis.
The concert is attended by students and teachers of the Paphos Music School, about 70 people in the choir and 45 people in the orchestra.
The technical support (sound, lighting, choir pedrians, etc.) are held by Schouinis and Papadopoulos in their latest concerts with many years of experience and professionalism in concert productions.
