Denying for publications referring to the establishment of a credit institution by the Church of Greece was held by the Holy Synod.
In a statement on reports referring to the establishment of a credit institution by the Church of Greece, the Holy Synod of the Church of Greece announces that:
“As far as reports on the Church of Greece was submitted by the Church of Greece to the Bank of Greece with the aim of establishing a credit institution that it is announced that a decision was never taken by the competent Holy Synod (two) of the Church of Greece. It is noted that responsible for the decisions and intentions of the Church of Greece is the Synodal Metropolitan designated each September by the DIS as a press spokesman and no one else. “
