The eight countries of OPEC+ said Sunday that they will increase oil production by 547,000 barrels a day, in a move that, according to analysts, aims to recover market share amid resistant crude oil prices.
“The eight participating countries will implement a production adjustment of 547,000 barrels a day in September 2025 from the required level of production of August 2025,” said a statement agreed by Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, Kouviti, Kouvaita, Kouvaita.
