
These first functions of the new buildings are part of the promotion of the infrastructure funded by Ankara in the occupied territories.
The newly built buildings of the “Presidency” and the “House” in the occupied territories were first put into operation, hosting events with students ahead of the Turkish “Day of National Sovereignty and Child” on April 23.
Specifically, according to the “Presidency” announcement, the leader of the Turkish Cypriot community, Ersin Tatar, welcomed special education students in the new complex of the so -called “Presidency” on April 22. Although it was the second reception of students in this building for the holiday, it was one of the first official uses of the site. In his speech, Mr. Tatar reiterated his positions on “dominance” and a two -state solution.
On the same day, the first symbolic meeting of the “plenary” was held in the new building of the House with the participation of 50 students from schools of the occupied. According to a report by Bağımsız, the students sat at the “Members” seats discussing the rights of the child. The “Speaker” of the “House”, Zorlu Torre, described the event as “historical”, stressing that the building is a “gift of Turkey”.
These first functions of the new buildings, linked to the Turkish national holiday, are part of the promotion of Ankara’s infrastructure in the occupied territories.
