Hamas allegedly accepted a ceasefire proposal and the hostage agreement proposed by the mediators, although it has requested some minor modifications to the wording, Reuters said Friday.

The draft agreement was approved this week by Israeli Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer during his visit to Washington.

According to the plan of a ceasefire agreement, seen by Haaretz, eight living hostages will be released on the first day of the truce, while two others will follow the 50th day.

The plan also describes a gradual return of Israeli hostages: five on the seventh day of the truce, another five on the 30th day and the last eight on the 60th day.

A total of ten living hostages will be released and the bodies of another 18 will be returned, according to the draft agreement.

The deal, formed by Qatar, is based on the so -called Witkov framework proposed by American envoy Steve Witkov.
