The 65 -year -old man, who was arrested under a judicial warrant, was put under a four -day detention in an investigation of an injury, and acts aimed at causing real bodily harm.
According to the data so far, shortly after 9.00 last night, while the 65 -year -old was at his home in Famagusta province, he allegedly injured a 50 -year -old man who visited him.
Around 9.20pm, the 65 -year -old himself called the police to his home, as he said, the 50 -year -old had visited him and threatened him with a knife.
Police members went to the 65 -year -old’s home, where it was found that the 50 -year -old was injured.
The 50 -year -old was taken to Famagusta General Hospital, where he was stapled to injuries that brought his head and left hand. Then he was discharged.
The case is being investigated by Famagusta TAE.
