A deadly car accident occurred this morning, around 7:30, on the Praitori road to Kedares, in the province of Paphos. The victim is Petros Petros Papasavva, 62 years old from Pretori, resident of Limassol. According to Assistant Police Officer Pafos Michalis Nikolaou, under conditions being investigated, the 62 -year -old while driving his car was fiercely crashed on the rear of a pavement, driving a 36 -year -old Greek Cypriot, a resident of Paphos. At the time of the accident, the roller -type vehicle was stopped on the left side of the road, in the direction of its march, due to the driver’s intention to turn right towards a rural road.

From the fierce collision, the 62 -year -old was trapped in his vehicle and needed the intervention of the Fire Department to release him. He was subsequently taken to an ambulance at Paphos General Hospital, where his death was found. The Paphos Traffic Police continues the exams to determine the exact causes of the accident. According to police, a arrest warrant is expected to be issued against the 36 -year -old ride driver.
