Seven-man Napoli in Genoa with a goal in the 95′, with one player less and with a thousand problems!

TheCyprus

Genoa once again showed their reactionary spirit, they were determined not to allow Napoli to take a victory they did not deserve, but the Champions dared, endured and luck smiled on them.

Conte saw his team make big mistakes, Bongiorno leave in tears after his own poor moment cost the Neapolitans, McTominay go off injured and Juan Jesus see a red card in the 76th minute.

Even so, the “Partenopei” succeeded in the 95th minute!

Taking things from the start, Malinowski had put De Rossi’s Genoa ahead with a well-timed penalty kick in the 3rd minute. The visitors to “Luigi Ferraris” quickly managed to bring the ups and downs in the match, with Hoylund from a “rebound” in the 20th minute equalizing and McTominay in the 22nd minute with a long shot to turn the game around (2-1).

At half-time, however, the visitors’ Scottish midfielder was forced off and so Conte put another problem on his head. Along with the one challenged by Bongiorno in the 57th minute, losing possession of the ball and allowing Colombo to reach the area and equalize at 2-2.

In fact, the 26-year-old defender of “Partenopei” was substituted, since he could not mentally manage the mistake he made. It was all over for Napoli in the 76th minute when Juan Jesus was sent off with a second yellow card.

And while everything seemed that if something didn’t happen that would give the whole match to Genoa, a draw would be the result of the match, came the… thriller in the finale.

Corne overthrew Vergara who is making… an unreal start to his tenure in Napoli, Hoylund set up the ball in the white ball in the 95th minute, he executed badly, but Bizo did not hold back and thus it was 3-2 for the “Partenopei”.
