The unprecedented phenomenon has caught the interest of all Europe – while conspiracy theories are growing, science gives answers.
A large glamorous spiral became visible in the sky on Monday night (24/3), giving impression and many questions. Although various conspiracy theories are heard, it is believed that this impressive phenomenon was caused by a missile launch of Space X, Elon Musk.
The US Meteorological Office spoke of a shape resulting from frozen fuel released by the rocket and, in combination with sunlight, caused this unprecedented reflection, according to the BBC.
How does the Musk rocket relate
Falcon 9 reusable rocket took off from Florida at 13:50, time, as part of a classified US government mission.
Falcon 9 breaks down in 2 parts after launch: the first part carries the payload, such as a satellite in space and then returns to the earth. The second part of the rocket still leads the satellite.
Once released, the second stage will launch any residual fuel, which freezes immediately because of the altitude and forms a spiral shape due to the movement of the rocket as it falls to the earth.
Then this reflection is created, which became visible from our planet.
