Turkish leader Tufan Erhiurman had a series of contacts on Monday, who held a meeting with representatives of the Turkish Cypriot conscientious objection initiative, while also visiting a workplace in the occupied territories where strike measures are underway.
In particular, Mr. Erhiurman received the representative of the Initiative for Conscientious Objection, Murat Kanatli, as well as other members of the movement. During the meeting, information was provided regarding the process and the work promoted by the said initiative.
At the same time, he went in the morning to the company’s facilities in the occupied Kouklia of Famagusta, where he spoke with the staff who went on strike. Mr. Erhiurman was informed by the representatives of the guild and the workers about the situation that has developed and listened to their requests and opinions.
