ANKIT KUMAR, 25, and PARDEEP, 25, both of India, are wanted for facilitating inquiries in connection with an investigation into an attempted murder, conspiracy to commit a felony and transportation of an offensive instrument, committed on 9/2/2026, in Nicosia Province.

The case
At around 4.20 pm on Monday, the Police received information from the Nicosia General Hospital that at 12.15 noon a 21-year-old man with a neck injury had gone to the Accident and Emergency Department.
The 21-year-old underwent surgery and remains hospitalized. According to the treating doctors, his health condition is stable and out of danger.
Based on the evidence so far, the 21-year-old and a second person accompanying him appear to have been attacked, under circumstances that are being investigated, by a person who was accompanied by four others.
During an argument, one of the five persons allegedly attacked and injured the 21-year-old in the neck with a sharp object, while he allegedly punched the second person in the nose.
Subsequently, the alleged perpetrator fled on foot, while the other persons remained at the scene to provide assistance to the injured.
