Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is reportedly called by Israeli police after arresting two of his assistants as part of the Qatargate scandal earlier on Monday.
Israeli media reported that the two suspects were Eli Feldin and Yonatan Urich, former and current members, respectively, of Prime Minister Beniam Netanyahu’s press office.
At least two news agencies also reported that Netanyahu himself would be called upon, but the information was not confirmed, according to the Jerusalem Post.
Urich and Feldin had already been arrested and questioned 12 days ago, according to Kan News, while another journalist was called in question, Maariv said.

The accusations against suspects include bribery, contact with foreign agent, infidelity, money laundering and tax offenses.
According to journalist Ben Caspit, both Shin Bet (Israeli Security Service) and police are investigating the allegations that Qatar funded Feldin, who allegedly had access to confidential material during the war.
Feldin is currently in home restriction to a beer leak of a highly classified document in a German newspaper in order to reduce public pressure on Netanyahu after the murder of six hostages in Hamas’ captivity in late August.
According to the Jerusalem Post, Lobbists representing Qatar’s interests in Israel, they met with high -ranking Israeli officials, and several months ago, there was an attempt to secure a meeting with themselves and a senior government minister.
