We can share water from Turkey

The Turkish leader said that the occupied territories are managing the aqueous problem despite reduced rains.

With Turkey’s full support in Geneva, they conveyed to the Turkish side the position that if the agreement was reached, the goods of the country could be shared and the water coming to the occupied Turkey could be shared, Turkish Cypriot leader Ersin Tatar said.

According to the T/C press today, the Turkish leader spoke at a festival in the occupied Akanthus on “Return to Nature” where he said that the occupied water problem is managed by the water problem despite the reduced rains and that in the free areas it is said that the problem is big.

Claiming that it is time for the Greek Cypriot side to think about it, Mr Tatar said that in collaboration with the “two states” things could be implemented for the benefit of the countries in this area.

Referring to Akanthu, Ersin Tatar said that the area has grown a lot and should be developed by protecting its nature, environment and culture, and that the culture that is transmitted from generation to generation is important.
