What our federal coach Apostolos Mantzios said after the end of the match with San Marino.

Pleased by the effort of National Cyprus and the result was coach Apostolos Mantzios. Speaking after the end of the match, he said:

“We had a serious game without underestimating the opponent. If we scored a quick goal, our task might have been easier. We made opportunities, we had a mood, we were passionate and that was the most important. We found the goals in the second half and we could achieve more. We wanted to get the victory and have a good picture and I think we achieved our goals by getting a fair victory. There is always room for improvement but it takes more time. Let’s go step, step. We thank the people who came and supported us, I hope they left satisfied with the image of the team. ”

Speaking about the fight with Bosnia Herzegovina next Monday, Mr Mantzios said:

“I am always optimistic, recognizing the difficulties we will face. As I said before the fight with San Marino, no race is lost before before, and not before, everything is judged on the pitch. “
