German Foreign Minister Analena Berbok made a farewell visit to Kiev, with the central issue of discussions the Ukraine-US-US deal, as well as Germany’s stable Ukraine request for the supply of Taurus rockets.
During his meeting with the German Foreign Minister, the Ukrainian President asked by reporters about whether he expects Taurus surrender by future Chancellor Friedrich Merts, replied that Ukraine was working in this direction by conducting relevant talks. However, he refused to give more details, stating that there is “more than hope” for a successful outcome.
For her part, Mrs Berbock said that as an outgoing foreign minister, he could not predict the decisions of the next Government, but added that the Christian Democratic Party (CDU) has repeatedly told the German Parliament how important the long -range weapons are.
President Zelenski also said that a legal team is working on the draft of the US side on the agreement on the exploitation of rare land. “It will be made a decision in the coming days,” Zelenski said, clarifying that the issue of NATO’s accession to NATO is not related to the agreement. “The NATO issue is not included in the agreement and never included,” he noted.
