The fire at a electricity substation that forced the closure of Heathrow’s airport is “under control”, the London Fire Service announced on Friday.
Other flights from British Airlines were canceled to and from Larnaca Airport to London’s Heathrow Airport, after closing due to fire stopping.
KIPE information by Hermes Airports reports that two other British Airlines were canceled, one arrival and one departure.
Specifically, the flight that would arrive at Larnaca Airport was canceled at 17.50 pm and departure at 18.45.
It is noted that a flight was canceled in the morning to depart at 07.40 in the morning from Larnaca Airport to London’s Heathrow Airport.
Due to the situation at London Airport, it has not yet been made clear what will happen by the British Airlines flight that was expected to arrive at Larnaca Airport on 12.05 on Saturday March 22nd.
