The football club is alleged to receive the cuts for social security and other funds from employees, without rendering them.

The defendants in the case of the APOEL Association’s debts to the Social Security Fund and other funds totaling € 2.3 million responded to the charges they face on Wednesday.

Eight from the eleven defendants, including the indictment, who admitted guilty, appeared before the court, with the court setting a new listening date on July 2, 2025 at 09:00.

The case concerns non -payment of insurance to five funds, and in particular non -payment of contributions to the Licensing Fund, the surplus Fund, the Human Resources and Social Cohesion Fund, the General Health System, and the Social Security Fund.

The debts in question relate to the period 2020-2022.
