Her concern about the poverty conditions experienced by thousands of households is expressed by the DEOK, which says that immediate measures and solutions are needed.
In its announcement, the DEOK redefines its positions, saying that the ATA performance at 100% and its gradual expansion now becomes more imperative, adding that the erosion of wages especially those in low income levels from rising prices to basic supplies.
It also refers to the expansion of collective agreements and the regulation of work benefits, so that there are right and fair salaries, which will respond to the value of the work produced to allocate the wealth, as he says.
He adds that it requires immediate measures to support households and vulnerable social classes, such as reducing VAT on fuel and food, reducing electricity prices and effectively utilizing the legislative tool, to impose cessies and other essentials.
“Although the policy of benefits is not the solution to the problem as the main concern should be the creation of those conditions that guarantee the right of every citizen to access to work and dignified living, however, all social welfare benefits should be re -evaluated and adjusted immediately.”
He says, among other things, that he has asked the Minister of Finance, in view of the tax reform to adopt a similar policy to that proposed on tax relief to those who either have residential loans or pay rents and their income is not taxed by importing the institution.
