According to the General Accounting Office, sponsorships are state amenities, which are disbursed by the budget for the financing of legal and/or natural actions aimed at promoting a specific objective.
The sponsorship of the parliamentary parties for the year 2024, released the General Accounting Office of the Republic on Thursday, with the two large DISY and AKEL parties in 2024 receiving € 1.98 million and € 1.62 million, respectively.
Also, AKEL received an additional € 1.21 million for the cost of employment of parliamentary partners and DISY € 1,13 million for the cost of employment of parliamentary partners.
Third in sponsorship was in 2024 DIKO with € 889.607.50, plus an additional € 741.905.23 for the cost of employment of parliamentary partners.
