Robert F. Kennedy Junior is ready to abolish 10,000 jobs by the Ministry of Health.

US Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Junior plans to cut a large number of ministry employees, abolishing about 10,000 full -time jobs and closing regional offices, said Wall Street Journal, citing documents.

Kennedy is expected to announce the scheduled changes later today, according to the report.

The plan includes the removal of 10,000 full -time employees in various services, which are responsible, inter alia, with the response to outbursts, the approval of new drugs, the provision of insurance for the poorest Americans.

Job cuts are coming while 10,000 employees have already chosen to leave the ministry from the start of the second Trump House in the White House, via voluntary exit bids, the WSJ said.

Voluntary departures and plan, if fully implemented, will lead to a reduction in the Ministry’s human resources to 62,000 federal health workers, the report said.

The ministry did not immediately respond to Reuters’ request for comment.
