It is the third arrest in the series for this case, with the other two released.
The 30 -year -old was arrested by police on Wednesday night, who was wanted in a case of detecting a criminal pistol in an open area in the concussion community in November 2024. The offenses facing the 30 -year -old are those of the conspiracy and conspiracy to commit a criminal and crime.

The investigation began on November 4, 2024, after evaluation of information that in a deserted area of the village of Konia, surrounded by dense vegetation, a car without registration signs were hidden. Police members identified the vehicle and put the area under surveillance. On the evening of the same day, a second car was seen to approach the abandoned vehicle. From the vehicle, two people were seen to leave, one of the two held various types of clothing and one beacon. Police members tried to stop the two persons for inspection. They managed to stop a 41 -year -old, while the second person fled and, taking advantage of the darkness, managed to escape to arrest the next day.
From examinations that followed, a 41 -year -old possession was identified and confiscated a knife. Inside the abandoned vehicle, a complete firearm cartridge and a cane were identified and seized.
An investigation was also conducted in the area where the second person escaped, where a junk with flammable matter, a hood and a pair of gloves was found, as well as a coastal pistol, which were received and took scientific exams.
The 41 -year -old was brought to trial before the Paphos Criminal Court and released on terms. This was followed by the arrest of a 33 -year -old man who, however, did nothing against him and was released, and the 30 -year -old was arrested for the same case yesterday.
