Astrobank has announced that Mrs Haris Hunter has been appointed as an executive member of the Bank’s Board of Directors with force since March 31, 2025, after approval by the Central Bank of Cyprus.
Mrs Hunter has been working at Astrobank since February 2015 and is currently head of the Bank Private Banking, Treasury and ESG Division. Between 2011 to 2015 he was head of the Directorate at BNP Paribas Wealth Management (Suisse) SA for Greece and Cyprus in Switzerland.
Previously, from 2007 to 2011, he was a Senior Relationship Manager at Private Banking at Piraeus SA Bank in Greece. He also served as Relationship Manager at Private Banking, Citibank International PLC in Greece, and from 2002 to 2006 he worked as an account manager at Telerate Hellas SA, while from 2017 to 2024 he was a member of the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Stock Exchange.
Mrs Kunou graduated from the Athens University of Economics and Business (ASOEE) with a degree in Economics. In addition, he has a master’s degree in Financial Economics from Cardiff Business School, University of Wales.
