Baku, Azerbaijan, April 13. Four Azerbaijani
Greco-Roman wrestlers competed on the sixth day of the European
Wrestling Championships in Bratislava, Trend reports.
Eldeniz Azizli (55 kg) met Emin Sefershayev (UWW) in the final.
The match ended with a score of 1:1, but according to the quality
points principle, the opponent was declared the winner.
Islam Abbasov (87 kg) won the bronze medal. In the match for 3rd
place he defeated Yaroslav Filchakov (Ukraine).
Murad Mamedov (63 kg) and Beka Kandelaki (130 kg) were left
without medals.
On April 13, three more Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestlers will
compete in the semi-finals.
