
Russia’s President Vladimir Putin on Friday sought to whip up support for his war in Ukraine as he hosted the annual “Victory Day” parade marking the defeat of Nazi Germany in WWII. “The whole country” supports the war, Putin said. He hailed the Russian troops’ bravery and greeted North Korean military personnel who have been fighting alongside them.
