The new generation of Nissan Leaf, launches a new big chapter on the brand’s electric journey. As the first purely electric model of mass production, the Leaf was the central pillar of the Japanese brand’s transition to “green” mobility, and the new generation is coming to accelerate this effort with its “weapons” elegant appearance, extensive autonomy and advanced technologies. The new Leaf stands out with a modern look that reflects its dynamic character and aerodynamic performance. At just 0.25 drag coefficients, the design of the Leaf optimizes air flow, enhancing both its performance and autonomy. The “hidden” door handles, the flowing roof line, the full cover under the floor and the sculptured surfaces make up a contemporary image. The modern Luaf of Leaf enhances the panoramic roof with shading, the 3D rear lights, as well as the large color palette, with a total of 7 colors. In all versions the wheels are aerodynamically designed, with options including 18 or 19 -inch alloy wheels. The new LEAF will be available in two battery options: Standard Range 52 KWH with a 436 km autonomy and extended Range 75 kWh with a 604 km of charge.
With a DC speed of up to 150 kW, the model can recover up to 417 km in just 30 minutes. On the highway, it offers autonomy of over 330 km at a speed of 130 km/h, and thanks to the rapid DC charge, traveling over 800 km. They can be completed with a minimum difference of internal combustion vehicles. Clever battery heat management ensures fast and steady charge at a temperature range, and operates in conjunction with the in-car route planner from Google maps to bring the battery to optimal temperature when the vehicle approaches a wheelchair.
In addition, it is equipped with Vehicle-to-Lod (V2L) mode, making it possible to charge external devices directly from the car, as well as a Vehicle-to-Grid system (V2G) compatible, so that it sends energy back to the network in the future.
