In February 2026, the increase in real estate sales on the market remains double-digit, according to data announced by the Department of Cadastre and Land Surveying.
Property sales across Cyprus increased by 12% reaching 1537 units from 1371 in February 2025. In January the increase was 11% and in December 2025, 24%.
In February 2026, the biggest increase was in Limassol which accelerated to 24% from 4% in January with sales reaching 482 from 389.
In the free area of Famagusta the annual increase reaches 21% from 23% in January with total sales being 63 from 52.
In Paphos sales growth fell to 14% from 25% in January with 319 properties changing hands from 280 last year.
In Nicosia the increase remains at 5% as it was in January with 332 sales from 315 last year.
In Larnaca sales were up by just 2% to 341 units from 335 in February 2025. In January the increase was 11%.
In the two months of 2026, the increase in real estate sales throughout Cyprus is 11%, with the largest recorded in the free area of Famagusta (22%) and Paphos (19%).
Property sales in 2025 reached the highest level since 2007. Sales documents filed amounted to 18114 units compared to 15797 in 2024, registering an annual increase of 15%.
