The former CEO of Cyta, Andreas Neokleous – may he be the man in Dubai where he now works – was remembered yesterday by journalists in the context of a press conference given by the Electricity Association, speaking of the excellent result of his work in the previous five years. The reason for the discussion is the need to modernize the EAC, so that it can find its place in the free electricity market, for the benefit of the consumer. However, we should note that Cyta employees contributed drastically to the modernization of the organization, when they understood that competition is not a curse and stopped putting up trade union obstacles, significantly facilitating the adaptation of the organization to the new modern conditions and requirements.
