GAZETTE: 11th Philanthropic Photographers’ Exhibition
FEK-Paphos Department organizes the “11th Exhibition of Paphite Photographers”. The main purpose of this event is to give the opportunity to photographers who live in the district of Paphos or come from it, to present their work to the general public through an organized group exhibition.
Each photographer presents a section of four photographs of his own choice, resulting in a plurality in terms of their subject matter and approach.
According to an announcement by the Official Gazette – Paphos Department, this year’s exhibition will also have a charitable purpose for the 7th consecutive year, since the photos will be available for sale at the price of €30 each to support the work of the “ANAZO” foundation.
The Association “ANAZO” is a non-profit organization based in Paphos, which was founded in 2025 and is active in the field of health and social solidarity. Its main purpose is to support and empower individuals and families facing social and health issues. Among its main objectives, as stated, are the support of patients and their families facing brain aneurysm, heart disease and certain forms of cancer, the organization of prevention and information campaigns, as well as the promotion of a healthy lifestyle and rehabilitation through collaborations with doctors, psychologists, nutritionists, hospitals, schools and universities.
Of particular importance is the fact that 30 photographers are taking part in the 11th Paphite Photographers’ Exhibition, a number that constitutes a record number of participants in the history of the institution. The participating photographers alphabetically are: Andreas Drousiotis, Anna Morozova, Georgiana Michaelidis, Yiannis Diamantopoulos, Dimitris Symeou, Irini Bournou, Zhenya Cherniavskaia, Zoltan Kelemen, Thanos Savvidis, Ildiko Spyrou, Ivanka Dimitrova, Ivet Pusheva, Konstantina Zambyrini, Lenos Karaspyros, Lefki Totou, Maria Antoniou, Markela Michailidou, Michalis Kofteros, Michalis Taliadoros, Niki Nikolaou, Deni Ziga, Rena Charalambous, Sherry McKelvie, Stavroula Menelaou, Stelios Gavrielidis, Stelios Sofoklis, Symos Charalambous, Victoria Arzamastseva, Chariklia Sarika, Chrysos Chrysanthou.
The opening of the exhibition will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026 in the Old Electric room and time 7 p.m. The exhibition will also be open on April 26 from 10:00 – 20:00.
The opening will be celebrated by the mayor of the Municipality of Paphos, Angelos Onisiforou.
