In one of the most impressive games of the season, Bayern’s attacking trio managed to make history, ending a record previously only held by Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Despite the Bavarians being asked to turn things around in their Champions League semi-final second leg with Paris Saint-Germain, Harry Kane, Michael Olisse and Luis Diaz have already achieved something special.

In an impressive 5-4 win against Luis Enrique’s side, Vincent Kompany’s side got three goals from Kane (54 in total for the season), Olisse (20) and Dias (26), with the trio reaching a combined 100 goals for the season.

In doing so, they became the first attacking trio in history to score triple-digit goals in a single season, apart from Real Madrid and Barcelona, breaking the absolute dominance of the two Spanish giants.

To date, similar achievements have only been achieved by legendary attacking lines, such as Messi-Suarez-Neymar (MSN), the trio of Cristiano Ronaldo-Benzema-Higuain, and earlier Messi-Eto’o-Henri, as well as the combination of Messi with Alexis Sanchez and Fabregas in the 2011-12 season.

Bayern’s performance this year, however, adds a new chapter to that list, confirming the dynamism of their attacking line.
