US allies scramble to push Ukraine back to the top of Trump’s agenda at G7

Allies of the United States at the G7 summit sought on Tuesday to refocus President Donald Trump’s attention on Ukraine, hoping to return the more than four-year war triggered by Russia’s full-scale invasion to the top of the agenda. The Iran conflict has in recent weeks dominated Trump’s attention but the US president said he now wants to focus on Ukraine.
