Stefanos Nikolaidis of SKOLAR, won the “Kyrenia Cup” at SKET, the fifth Championship match of 2026, which was held on the weekend of June 27 and 28 at the Larnaca Olympic Shooting Range.
Stefanos Nikolaidis, in the qualifying match achieved the best performance with 122/125, together with Giorgos Achilleos of SKOPAF.
In the final, the shooter of SKOLAR prevailed with 31 – 29 over Dimitris Konstantinou of SKOPAF, who qualified for the final with the third best performance of 120/125.
Konstantinou won the second place, while Antonis Andreou of SKOEPA (117/125) and 26 successes in the final was ranked third.
The fourth place in the final was occupied by Menelaos Michaelidis (119/125) with 22 successes, the fifth place was Varnavas Theodorou of SKOPAF (117/125) with 18 successes, who returned to competitive action after about a year, the sixth place was Cleanthis Varnavidis of SKOLEY (117/125) with 15 successes, the seventh place went to Giorgos Achilleos of SKOPAF (122/125) with 7 successes and the eighth place to Sotiris Antoniou of SKOLEY (119/125) also with 7 successes in the final.
In the Men’s Category at SKET, Giorgos Achilleos of SKOPAF emerged as the winner with 122/125. The second place was secured by Stefanos Nikolaidis of SKOLAR also with 122/125 and the third by Dimitris Konstantinou of SKOPAF with 120/125.
In the Junior Category, the first place was secured by Savvas Savvidis of SKOLEY with 115/125, the second place by Nikolas Theodorou of SKOLEM with 113/125 and the third place by Athanasios Pieri of SKOLAR with 111/125.
In the Women’s Category, the first place was won by Konstantina Nikolaou of SKOAM with 114/125.
In the Girls Category, the winner was Ioanna Andreou of SKOEPA with 88/125.
Finally, in the Children’s Category, the first place was won by Nikos Sazos of SKOLEM with 112/125. Spyridonas Evripidou of SKOLEM was ranked second with 103/125 and Giorgos Kolanis, also of SKOLEM, was third with 101/125.
FIRST WIN OF FEIDIA SAVVIDI THIS YEAR IN THE TRAP
In the TRAP, Phidias Savvidis of SKOLEM achieved his first victory of the year, who qualified for the final with the third best performance (117/125) and celebrated the victory by defeating Adonis Mylonas of SKOLEY with 28 successes, against his opponent’s 27. Mylonas secured a place in the final with the best performance of the match, 120/125.
Andreas Makris of SKOEPA ranked third (116/125) and 22 successes in the final.
The fourth place in the final was secured by Frixos Orthodoxou of SKOLEY (115/125) with 17 successes, the fifth place by Teen Andreas Germanos (113/125) with 13 successes, the sixth place by Nihat Akterzi of SKOAM (114/125) with 11 successes, the seventh place by Yiannis Aeliotis of SKOEPA (119/125) with 7 successes and in eighth place Nikolas Kyriakou of SKOLAM (114/125) also with 7 successes.
In the MEN’S 1st CATEGORY in the TRAP, the first place was secured by Adonis Mylonas of SKOLEY with 120/125. Second was Yiannis Ailiotis of SKOEPA with 119/125 and third was Phidias Savvidis of SKOLEM with 117/125.
In the 2ND MEN’S CATEGORY in the TRAP, the first place was secured by Panagiotis Pourikkos of SKOAM with 111/125. Second was Chris Konstantinidis of SKOLM with 109/125 and third was Kemal Gyursel of SKOAM with 108/125.
In the Junior Category, the winner was Andreas Germanos of SKOLAR with 113/125. Michalis Pafitis of SKOLEY was ranked second after a shoot-off, who tied with Kyriakos Papazachariou of SKOLAR with 107/125. In the shoot-off, Pafitis prevailed 6-5.
In the Women’s Category, first place was secured by Georgia Konstantinidou of SKOLEY with 105/125.
With the same performance of 105/125, Hara Meli of SKOLEY was named the winner in the Junior Category.
In the Children’s Category the first place was secured by Charalambos Papacharalambous, also from SKOLEY with 81/125.
Finally in the PARATRAP Category, the winner was Giorgos Papailia of SKOLAR with 94/125. Neophytos Nikolaou of SKOLEY was ranked second with 90/125.
The prizes to the winners of SKET and TRAP in all categories were awarded by the President of SKOKER and Secretary General of SKOK, Mr. Michalis Diakos, the Vice President of the Kyrenia Shooting Organization, Mr. Grigoris Toumbas, the Member of the Board of Directors of SKOLAR, which hosted the event, Mr. Thassos Fokas, and its Treasurer SKOK Mr. Kostakis Xenophontos.
