The Cyprus Anti-Cancer Association brings to Paphos the popular comedy “Dydymos Belas” by Dimitris Yiannoukakis, based on the play “Mediate please”, in a unique show with a charitable character.

The production of the Eu(f)oria Gelotos theater company, which started its tour at the beginning of July at festivals in Greece, will be presented at the Markideio Theater of Paphos on Friday, September 11, 2026, at 8:30 p.m.

The case revolves around Paraskevas, a “murmuring” husband who tries to cover up his love infidelities, citing the existence of an alleged twin brother, Leandros.

When his wife discovers the truth through photographs, she decides to get her revenge, leading the story into a series of hilarious misunderstandings and twists.

The play, which was a great success in the 1950s with Vassilis Logothetidis, Ilia Livykou and Smaro Stefanidou as protagonists, is being staged again with Eleni Filini, Maki Pateli, Zano Dania, Petro Petrou, Kali Davri, Zacharenia Spiliou and Perikli Tsamantani as protagonists.

The direction is signed by Giorgos Fratzeskakis. The show has a duration of 1 hour and 45 minutes, without intermission, it is aimed at the whole family and general admission is set at 20 euros.

Tickets will go on sale in early August through Ticketmaster. The net proceeds of the event will be allocated to the Cyprus Anti-Cancer Association, as part of the organization’s charity work. For more information, the public can call 99 652305.
