Ba cleaned it up!
EN Ypsona prevailed 2-0 against Akritas in the finale of the 2nd matchday of the play out, in a game held at “Stelios Kyriakides”.
The Lemesian forward scored both goals in the first half and set the stage for the three-point “golden” that keeps the Ypsonas team out of trouble (34b. and +7 from the danger zone). On the other hand, Okka’s total remained at 26 points and continues to be… worrying.
As far as the game is concerned, EN Ypsona was dominant in the first half, Ba managed to score with a beautiful shot and place in his team’s first two opportunities and so it was… late for the hosts. Akritas “woke up” in the last 15 minutes, in which he scored 3-4 classic opportunities, but dystocia and Zandro kept the scoreless.
As for what follows (3rd matchday), EN Ypsona will face Ethnikos, while Akritas will be hosted by Olympiakos. Both games were set for April 19.
