Investigations and due diligence by the Police at the malls that were put on alert after receiving threatening messages have been completed, without finding anything suspicious or worrying.
In a new announcement, the Police state that the controls at the Nicosia Mall and KEMA in Nicosia have been completed, while the tests so far have not revealed any findings that cause concern.
As specified, threatening messages were also sent to the Mall of Cyprus in Nicosia, the Kings Avenue Mall in Paphos, as well as other places. All reports were immediately evaluated by the relevant authorities and, after the investigations carried out, nothing suspicious was found.
Despite the completion of the checks, the case remains under investigation. Investigators continue to evaluate all the evidence gathered, with the goal of fully solving the case and identifying the sender or senders of the threatening messages.
It should be noted that in addition to the above points, threatening messages were sent both to the Mall of Cyprus, in Nicosia, and to the Kings Avenue Mall, in Paphos, as well as in other places.
The Police thank the public for their cooperation and understanding during the precautionary measures implemented, noting that there will be a new update if any new information emerges.
