With words of admiration and respect Hansi Flick was placed for Pep Guardiola, on the occasion of the departure of the Catalan technician from Manchester City at the end of the season.
Barcelona’s German coach, commenting on Guardiola’s long presence at the top level, underlined the difficulty of sustaining success over time: “To be here for 10 years? I don’t think so. At 70 it wouldn’t be good to still be here. Pep is incredible. Ten years at this level. He is the best coach in the world. He has proven it time and time again. Even when things weren’t going well, he knew how to handle the situation.”
