On Saturday, June 6 in the afternoon, the Personal Envoy of the UN Secretary General, Maria Angela Holguin, will be in Cyprus and will see the leaders separately on Monday, June 8.
According to information from the KYPE, Ms. Holgin will discuss with both “both the substance and Confidence Building Measures”. After Cyprus, the Secretary General’s Envoy is expected to go to Greece and Turkey.
Maria Angela Holgin came to the island for the last time and had a separate and joint meeting with President Christodoulidis and the Turkish leader on January 28 with that meeting focusing on the MOUs. The two leaders have since met three times, most recently on May 8.
