Satisfied with the effort, the performance and also the result of the national team against Slovenia, our team’s coach Apostolos Manzios appeared.
Our coach’s statements:
“We generally put in a good performance in the way we handled the game against a very good team like Slovenia. In the first half we controlled the pace despite the possession of the ball that the opponent had. He didn’t threaten us much, we scored first and with a better final pass and better final decisions in some cases, we could have been more threatening.
In the second half, the dismissal came early and changed our plans. The children testified that they had and did not have and they deserve to be congratulated. It was a good lesson on how to deal with such situations.
Now we have to correct some mistakes made, some weaknesses and be ready for the Nations League games in September.”
