Newcastle beat West Ham 3-1 at home for the 37th matchday of the Premier League.
With this defeat, Kostantinou’s team is now very close to relegation to the Championship as they are -2 behind Tottenham, who have one more game to play.
In the 15th minute, Burns perfectly found Voltemante in the area, with the German executing immediately for Newcastle’s 1-0. Four minutes later the hosts doubled their lead as Osula got in the face of the West Ham keeper and fired the ball into the back of the net.
Newcastle were superior and found a third goal with Osula scoring a second own goal after Willock’s assist in the 65th minute.
The hammers reduced in the 69th minute to 3-1 with Kastegianos, but they did not manage to claim anything more than the match.
